Cherbourg
Driving from the port of Cherbourg, follow the signs touts directions then follow
the signs for Rennes and Mont St Michel, on reaching Valognes take the D2 to Coutances then follow the signs for Gavray,
travel through the town, cross over the bridge, turn right, follow the road until you reach the first major crossroads, turn
left (direction Mesnil Garnier) after approx 500 meters turn left at the marker post La Grande Chalonniere.
Caen (Ouistreham)
On
leaving the port, follow green signs for Caen keep on this road until you see blue signs for Rennes and
Mont St Michel A84 (non toll motorway) exit at jctn 37 Gavray follow the signs for Mesnil Garnier D33
approx 5 miles after Mesnil Garnier the road bends sharp left signposted Ver follow until you come to the first marker
post on the right, La Grande Chalonniere.
Driving from the port Le Harvre, exit the port and follow the signs for
Caen. once you reach Caen. Then use directions 'driving from Caen'.
